Helping senior leaders achieve clarity, resilience and impact.
Why choose coaching or safeguarding supervision?
Why choose coaching (for leaders)?
A space to think, grow, and lead with clarity.
Leadership can be inspiring and rewarding, but it also comes with pressures — constant decision making, responsibility for others and little time to pause.
Coaching gives you the dedicated space you rarely have: to think deeply, explore possibilities, and reconnect with your purpose.
What coaching offers:
Time away from the noise to reflect clearly.
A safe, confidential space to explore challenges and ambitions.
Skilled questioning to expand your perspective and spark new ideas.
Greater focus, confidence, and resilience in your leadership.
Support to balance professional ambition with personal wellbeing.
Why it matters:
Coaching is not about telling you what to do. It’s about helping you uncover your own clarity and direction, so you can lead with confidence, adapt to change, and stay true to what matters most.
Coaching gives you time and space to grow — both as a leader and as a person.
Why choose supervision (for Designated Safeguarding Leads and their Deputies)?
Supporting those who support others.
Safeguarding leads carry significant responsibility. You hold the wellbeing of children, families, and sometimes even colleagues in your hands. It can be rewarding — but also emotionally demanding, ethically complex and at times overwhelming. Supervision provides the safe, structured support you need.
What 1 to 1 supervision offers:
A confidential space to reflect on your work and responsibilities.
Ethical accountability to ensure safe and effective practice.
Support and advice when handling complex or sensitive safeguarding situations.
A chance to process, debrief and externalise concerns to prevent burnout, and maintain wellbeing.
Guidance to build resilience and professional confidence.
Why it matters
Given the vital importance of your role as a safeguarding lead, both Ofsted and the KCSiE framework are clear about the need for you to have access to dedicated supervision and support.
When your role involves safeguarding others, your own support is essential. Supervision strengthens practice, protects wellbeing, and ensures that decisions are made thoughtfully and safely.
Supervision is about giving you the support you need — so you can continue to support others with integrity and confidence. It's about taking care of yourself so you can take care of others.
What group supervision offers:
A safe and supportive peer network to share challenges and best practices.
Diverse perspectives to help solve complex safeguarding situations.
A collaborative space to stay up-to-date with new guidance and legal changes.
A chance to process, debrief and externalise concerns and prevent professional isolation.
A dedicated space to process, reflect, and recharge.
The opportunity to build confidence and resilience with a community of fellow DSLs, resulting in sustainable leadership.
Choosing a coach or supervisor is personal. You want someone you can trust — someone who understands both the pressures of leadership and the responsibility of safeguarding.

MM- Assistant Headteacher
I found these coaching sessions extremely helpful in achieving my end goal. I found the partnership between myself and my coach that developed over the sessions was both supportive and reflective. I was guided through my own reflections/thoughts and opinions and it was great to have a reflective and neutral perspective on the issue/topic that I wanted to discuss. I at no point felt judged or led but instead felt supported and safe to work through the sessions at my own pace. This, I believe, was one of the most beneficial attributes that I gained from my coach and the sessions we did together.
Over the period of coaching I completed, I found myself becoming more self-aware and building solutions and strategies for growth. It was extremely helpful to have a critical eye and have someone ask questions and delve deeper into areas which I did not feel I was doing with much success beforehand or independently. I would highly recommend these coaching sessions to someone else as I know that without them, I would not have made the same personal growth and that to me, makes them priceless.
AG- Deputy Head
Having coaching from Edith has been a highlight of my new role as deputy head teacher of a primary school. I look forward to each one of my sessions and often find myself thinking “I would like to work through that problem with Edith.” She is warm, non-judgemental, and genuinely curious about my thoughts and feelings. She has helped me to work through and problem solve a variety of situations, from how to deal with a specific difficulty to wider career planning. She has a natural way of structuring the sessions, drawing out what is really important and supporting me to come to the solution I feel most comfortable with. I leave every session with more clarity than I had at the beginning and concrete next steps as to how to move forward. I would highly recommend working with Edith to anyone, especially those who are new to leadership.

AB- Senior HR
When I met Edith I had never been coached before and had only the barest thoughts on how to approach it. Edith guided me, beginning with an examination of the important areas of my life, and then focusing on salient points. This approach bore fruit and we went on to explore a number of avenues, allowing me to see things from a different perspective and giving me the confidence to tackle a series of obstacles in my life. Throughout the sessions Edith worked around my personality, was incisive in her questions, and with her patience created a calm atmosphere in which to explore. If she can do this starting with a blank canvas, I have no doubt anyone bringing tangible challenges to her will end up rewarded.
MM- Middle Leader
Since working with you, I have noticed a deeper sense of clarity and confidence in my own abilities—I have now begun approaching challenges with a more grounded, solutions-oriented mindset rather than second-guessing myself. Your coaching style felt both supportive and direct; you created a safe space to reflect honestly while also encouraging me to stretch beyond my comfort zone. I’d describe it to a friend as compassionate, practical, and empowering.
DK- Senior Leader
As a new leader in a school, I had coaching from Edith to help identify gaps and strengths in my practice. She provided a safe, non-judgmental space for me to unpick and evaluate my approach, asking insightful questions that challenged me to grow. I have gained significant self-awareness, and the process really encouraged me to reflect deeply. This has allowed me to feel much more confident in my leadership. I highly recommend Edith to any professional looking to elevate their practice.
AW- Assistant Headteacher
Working with Edith has been a genuinely transformative experience. From the very first session, she created a space where I felt completely safe, comfortable, and able to open up. Each conversation felt natural and unforced, which made it easy for me to explore thoughts and feelings I hadn’t articulated before.
She has an exceptional ability to listen deeply and identify the key themes beneath what I was saying. More than once, she summarised my thoughts so clearly and succinctly that it helped me see my own patterns and beliefs with fresh eyes. Their reflections became powerful mirrors, allowing me to understand myself better.
I also appreciated the balance Edith struck during our discussions—offering thoughtful prompts to guide my reflection when needed, while also giving me the freedom to take the lead and explore my own direction. It never felt prescriptive; instead, it felt like a collaborative process grounded in trust and insight.
Through our work together, I’ve been able to uncover some of my fundamental values and qualities. This clarity has helped me make more confident decisions in both my personal and professional life. I’m deeply grateful for the growth I’ve experienced and highly recommend Edith to anyone seeking meaningful, supportive coaching.
BF- Middle Leader
I undertook several coaching sessions with Edith, primarily aimed at defining and accelerating my career progression and professional development.
The methodology proved highly effective: Edith empowered me to lead the agenda, providing the crucial space necessary to process complex ideas and explore my own solutions. Her expertise lies in active listening and insightful probing, which skillfully validated my thoughts while challenging me to identify core solutions. The discussions resulted in the creation of SMART goals and a clear developmental timeline.
A notable change in my approach is my commitment to actively prioritise my development, using systematic review strategies to track progress against defined objectives. Enabling me to effectively track my own progression over time.
Edith's coaching is characterised by a patient, thoughtful, and diligent approach. She is relentlessly thorough, ensuring that I, as the coachee, conclude each session with robust, tangible next steps. I wholeheartedly recommend Edith to other professionals seeking an engaging and results-oriented coaching experience.
